Star Wars Galaxies: Harassment Policy Reminder

Thunderheart posted a reminder about what to do if someone is harassing you on the forums or in the game.

Harassment, especially inappropriate harassment for a family friendly game, is unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. Violators of this policy will be warned and potentially banned as per our Terms of Service, Community Standards and Rules of Conduct.

If you are being harassed on the SWG forums:

If you are being harassed on the forums, please report this behavior to the moderators by using the "Report Post" feature.

To report a post, simply find the message and then use the message "Options" pull-down and choose report post to moderator. When you do this, it will bring up a popup box giving you an opportunity to add a comment to your report as well. Then choose the submit button and the moderators will get the notification.

If you are being harassed in the game:

If you are being harassed in game we urge you to place a Harassment CS ticket. There is a special button to do this. Press CTRL-H and then press the button that says, "Report a Harassment" and it will auto place a ticket and do a /report at the same time. False reporting will also not be tolerated.

Please note that once you file a harassment report, our staff will investigate the claim. Due to privacy issues, we do not announce the actions taken against specific accounts. However, it is worth noting that we have banned many accounts for such harassment and will continue to aggressively investigate open reports.
