Dark Age Of Camelot: Database Problems and Crappy Pop-ups

We're working on figuring out what has happened to the links database. If you see any of our other databases acting funny, let us know.

Also, I know a couple of the recent batch of pop-ups are *really* bad :(

Several of the managers of the Warcry sites have complained about them, but until we find alternate funding, they are here for a while.

If any of you visit our Asheron's Call sister site http://ac.warcry.com/ you'll find they've been creative with the advertisement banners.

I will be looking into doing a similar sponsorship here in the near future.

If you are receiving a lot more than 4 popups (2 for this site, 2 for the forums) in any given 12 hour span, its probably because you don't have cookies enabled. You can refer to our help page ( http://daoc.warcry.com/index.php/content/help) for some suggestions on how to fix that problem. There are some exceptions where visitors are still getting bombarded with popups even after turning cookies on. We have yet to find fixes for those users :(

Last but not least, look forward to some upgrades on the quest database coming in the near future (eta 2 weeks).
