Star Wars Galaxies: Jedi...The facts...

Ever since the announcement that the Jedi system is going to be revamped, rumours and possibilites have been flying around like a Corellian Butterfly caught in a net.

Thunderheart has cleared up a few of these concerns.

If you are a Jedi with 2 slots, you will keep them and still be a Jedi in the new system.
If you are not a Jedi, and have mastered X number of professions then some level of advancement through the system will be included based on how many professions you completed.

This means that for all you existing Jedi, you don't have to worry about your second character. It will be a Jedi and will also be a tradeoff depending on how far you have progressed. Secondly for those who have yet to unlock that elusive slot you will have made progession in the quest system. Mastering a number of professions will mean more than just a recognition giveaway.
