Asherons Call: Want To Be Famous?

As some of you may know I am the Quest Team Manager for Crossroads of Dereth. As such, I am responsible for the Quest Compendium. Crossroads of Dereth has the most extensive, most accurate AC Quest Compendium on the internet. I am looking to "spuce up" some older quest write-ups, and add even more detail to our current and future write-ups.

I need to "hire" some new staff to help me out in the following areas:

1) HTML Editors - Essentially these editors will take MS Word, Word Pad, and Notebook submissions from the Quest Writers and Editors and convert them to HTML for the web site.

2) Quest Writers - Writers are responsible for composing new quest write-ups and improving upon old write-ups. Have a look at a few of the write-ups in the Compendium to get an idea of what this entales.

3) Quest Verifiers - Verifiers print out quests from our Compendium and essentially follow them as a "recipe." They then make any necessary corrections (coordinates, directions, monsters, etc.). They do not edit the content of the quest, merely the "facts."

4) Fact Checkers - Essentially you may be asked to check the stats on a quest reward, or the coordinates of a portal. This position will help us verify information sent in via our Quest Comments link at the bottom of every quest write-up.

What is in it for you?

To be honest ... not a whole lot.

It is certainly a chance for you to leave your mark for 1000's of AC players to follow. To have your name in lights if you will. It is also a chance to get to know more quests, lore, and rewards that are available to you as a player. This is a great postion for anyone involved with their Guild's quest planning. Most importantly you will have fun creating something to call your own.

Expectations:

a) You will need to be able to put in about an hour per week on average.
b) It is important that you are creative if you choose to be a Quest Writer.
c) Accuracy is a must.
