Star Wars Galaxies: Roleplaying ability (or lack thereof)

This week in her Gamer Girl column. Kwee shares with us the trials and tribulations of Roleplaying.

I'm hopeless. My Darth Vader breathing noise for example sounds like a pig snoring, or maybe a cat trying to hack up a fur ball... Hmm, maybe if I tried to sound like a pig snoring or a cat hacking up a fur ball, Darth Vader breathing sounds would come out...I'll have to try it sometime... And finally my third thought was (note my brain works a little strangely), "Hey I can write my next Gamer Girl column on what an incompetent role-player I am!"

Disclaimer : This quote I thought I'd include simply because it made me smile, the entire article does take everything to a further level. Also as Kwee begins to read this post I'm sure she'll go "I can't believe he picked that to quote" :)

As always some good points are raised. I've always thought this game would be better with a few more roleplayers around (incompetent or not, :) *cough cough* not you Kwee), so many people comment that they want a more Star Warsy feel and yet have their character called "Imtheman youbetterbelieveit" or some such.

This is a topic worthy of debate so....
