City Of Heroes: Launch Preparations Underway

Greetings, City of Heroes fans! Release is mere days away! Here's the latest word from the official site:

The City of Heroes Beta ended with a bang last night as thousands of valiant heroes successfully defended Paragon City against an alien invasion of Rikti forces. We would like to thank not only those who participated in last night's battle, but in the overall testing process. We appreciate your incredible attention to detail and elite bug-busting skills, your input as we addressed balancing issues and all the other contributions you've made as we've moved through the final stages necessary to ensure as smooth a launch as possible.

The servers will come up again on Sunday, April 25, 12 Noon CDT for those that are eligible through the Pre-Order Head Start program. The game's official launch blasts off Tuesday, April 27, at 11 p.m. CDT. (Please note that this is an hour earlier than previously reported.)
