Miss Galaxies 2004

I would like to begin by introducing myself and giving you a bit of history on my organization. I am Aktrez Il'Ustra, Master dancer and head of Nabooty Entertainment in the Eclipse galaxy. I am a Twi'lek with a very strange past. I wish I could tell you more about it, but, I shall save that for another day.

My company: In November of 2002 my business partner and I, through our travels, had found ourselves in a galaxy called Rubi-Ka in a far distant area of the universe. While running the local club scene, we began meeting many of the young ladies who were struggling to make ends meet in our galaxy. My partner and I decided to hold a competition for these ladies that not only showcased their outer beauty, but their talent and personalities as well. The pageant was a complete success! Over 15 girls competed in each local competition and the winner went on to do great things in our universe, using the skills she learned from her time as Miss Rubi-Ka.

Miss Galaxy: After leaving our world, and going out into the universe, we came across a little galaxy known as Eclipse. We met young ladies who we felt would benefit greatly from our scholarship pageant. Miss Galaxy was born!!!

In October, 2003, Miss Galaxy received high acclaims from some very important members of the universe. Mr. Q-3PO honored us by proclaiming our holosite (www.missgalaxyswg.com) the site of the month in October, throughout the universe! I also had the honor of being asked to do an interview about the pageant LIVE on a television show called G4TV.com. As well as speaking with a member of the New York Times in regard to the show. The interest in our little competition grew until we had over 80 young ladies signed up to participate galaxy wide.

Seven beautiful women, from across the galaxy, took away planetary titles, and had the chance to compete for Miss Galaxy. Based on Interview, Talent, Evening gown and Swimsuit, the ladies competed for prizes that included over 2 million credits, new clothing, a new house... and many other custom items. After the success of Miss Galaxy, our organization blossomed.

This year's pageant introduced two new members of the staff. Mr. Deus Redria came on board to help us as Marketing Director. He has been an amazing pillar of strength and knowledge, and has been a primary engine for this year's pageant. Mr. Kicko Koli replaced my departed business partner as Assistant Director, bringing hard work and a great knowledge of business to the table. We are in the midst of a second WONDERFUL competition. and now we feel. it is time to grow!

Miss Galaxy and YOU: It has been my goal, from the start, to grow the Miss Galaxy Organization into a thing that not only encompassed my galaxy, but the entire universe!! This is where you and your organization comes into the picture. We would like to host a competition, based on the current Miss Galaxy system, in each galaxy (aka. Server). Each galaxy's event would be run by an individual (such as yourself) under the rule sets and guiding eye of myself and my committee. The winner of each individual galaxy (Miss "Server" ) would then go on to compete for the grand title of MISS GALAXIES! Each young woman would have her Swimsuit and evening gown photo posted on the main galaxy site. A brief .avi clip of her talent would be displayed, as
well as a typed interview with the young lady. The people of each galaxy would be urged to go to the website and vote for their favorite young lady. This would not only be a healthy, wonderful competition for the women involved, it would also harbor community support and togetherness.

I have spoken to Mr. Pex, Ms. Jeassa, and Mr. Q-3PO and they back this event 100%. It is even a possibility that, done correctly, this event could end up being posted on the MAIN front page of the universe holosite! But, that is up to us! Speaking of holosite; your competition would also get it's own web presence on the main www.missgalaxyswg.com website. The website, in March alone, saw over 8 thousand hits!

This is YOUR chance to become a part of the BIGGEST, and also the first ever cross Galaxy event!!

We won't lie to you; this is a monumentus undertaking for your team and ours. Together, we can make this the largest event to hit the galaxies yet!
