Star Wars Galaxies: A letter to our readers ...

Some of our more attentive readers may have noticed a few changes in the site staff over the past week or so, mainly regarding Tark's decision to step down from his post as our longtime site manager.

Tark started working on this site way back when Star Wars: Galaxies was still mostly a gleam in the eyes of its developers, and has shepherded us through the slow days between conception and launch, helping build [b]SWG WarCry[/b] into one of the best news and resource sites serving the SWG community. But, as it sometimes does, real life intruded. Tark will be missed.

As his last act as site manager, Tark bestowed that title on me, showing a lot of faith in someone who once stole his stuffed pepper at a Mexican restaurant (in my defense, the waiter DID give it to me). In turn, I appointed our news manager, Kwee, and one of our top staffers, Karywn, as my assistant site managers.

With the help of these two energetic, enthusiastic and extremely dedicated ladies, I hope to continue to keep [b]SWG WarCry[/b] at the top of the list. To that end, we will be looking for several new staffers to fill various positions from writers, to news gatherers to coders and data-entry personnel.

[b]SWG WarCry[/b] is the only all-volunteer site dedicated to the game and community we love, and we always welcome new family members. More information will be available soon on what positions we have open, but, in the meantime, if you feel you have something to offer, please drop us a line.
