Halloween in Haunted Yanshi!
Life''s been pretty hard since Gaerlan and Martine came to town, but now we can all take a breath and kick back for some festive Halloween fun in the spooky shadow of Yanshi''s ruins! Beware, though, they say those ruins are haunted, and that Yanshi has long been a hotbed for paranormal activity...

Solclaim, hosted by the Red Fez allegiance: Oct. 19th 5 to 8 PM EST
Morningthaw, hosted by the Family of Valor: Oct. 20th 5 to 9 PM EST
Wintersebb, hosted by The Paladins of Asheron, Oct. 24th, time TBD
If you don''t see your server listed, raise a rukus! We''re looking for allegiances who would like to host the event, so e-mail Ramen if you''d like to help bring it to your server!
What''s Going ON?!?
If we told you everything, it would spoil the surprise! Naturally you will find everybody enjoying the season decked out in their best Derethian costumes, jack-o-lanterns a''plenty, and of course lots of great party food.
You will also have the opportunity to join in a torchlight procession to the ruins of old Yanshi, where you will hear tell of many a restless soul.
Don''t forget to bring your tricks and treats! During the event, anybody may approach anybody else and chant the age-old mantra, "trick or treat!". There''s no telling what your fellow adventurer will see fit to hand over. Will it be a candy bar? A virindi jewel? Another rock? Or perhaps you arrived too late and they are out of treats, alas...
Some servers will be holding costume contests or raffles, and more details on this will be forthcoming.
