"Dear Thistledown,
Over the course of the last year or so, my allegiance, like so many others, has felt a sharp decline in numbers and to that, a sharper decline in questing/activities.
As an allegiance of 4+ years, we have formed great and close bonds that have kept us together through the toughest of times. Heck, I even tried to find a patron last week for the sake of questing and fellowship and my own guild met me with "HELL NO WE WON'T GO" in my MOTD. So, what's a monarch to do?
Well, what I've come up with is a town meeting. In talking with other monarchs who have seen similar inactivity and declining numbers in their own families, I thought it would be helpful to instill some of the forgotten fellowship we used to boast about on Thistledown. Gone are the days of meeting in our under used meeting halls and towns for auctions (remember Vrumor's uber auctions? ) and open, public, friendly guild meetings.
In addition to creating some much needed community feeling, the meeting would also offer up the opportunity to discuss cross allegiance questing with any other honorable guilds interested. Greystaff, who runs our Winding Path forums, is currently working on a public forum where anyone from another guild could post; looking for questing partners and help.
With the expansion, binding stones, and the possible increase in player base, it would be nice to get to our server fellows again, don't you think?
Come join us at the Cragstone Meeting Hall, May 16th, 3:00 pm EST for an exchange of ideas and we'll throw in the refreshments <wink nudge>.
Thanks for reading!"
