Thanks to the guys at Aliencodec, we are now able to make more realistic trees, grass and other landscapes. With their new software, the Art Team is recreating the landmasses on Seregor. Some of the maps have already been completely replaced. The rest are in process. "This will take the whole phase," comments Draconus in a recent conversation, "but it will definitely put us closer to where we want to be. We are taking our time on this and not rushing around." Sounds great right?
Well, that's not all they've got in store. New models for all the monsters ingame are coming as well. The buildings are being redone to match the quality of the maps they'll be on. Also, a wide array of weapons will come into the game. Capeal and Liz have already given you a sneak preview of what the weapons are and can do, but just wait till you see the models!
"This phase is all about taking what we've got and stepping it up a notch. You won't see a lot of 'new' names, places, etc. but you will see the new graphics for the older stuff." Way to go Art Team!! Keep FreeWorlding!
