Lineage 2: Gamemethod.com Review

There is yet another review of the game, this one is found at Gamemethod.com.

Lineage 2 hit retail on April 28th, it transitioned from open beta to retail very smoothly, in fact it was one of the silkiest launches in MMPOG history. Then again this game has already launched in Korea six months ago and is just now reaching the states. Players who preordered the game basically got an additional free month of play (2 months total) because the player base was not wiped between open beta and retail, so you can expect some high level people in the game when you start. There is an unlucky part though, we were promised to receive Chronicles 1, the first major update to Lineage 2 when retail hits, but the community was informed last second that what we were getting at retail will be the open beta client. So quite literally, everyone who is playing retail right now is beta testing, at least until June.
