Asherons Call: A Call to Arms?

We've received reports through the night of people defeating the Harbinger, (here he is in death) but on some servers nothing seems to have happened.

People have postulated that you must kill the crystals in order and this morning the call to arms went out again:

"In the ruins of Yanshi, a portal has opened. High Queen Strathelar asks that any able bodied warriors enter to destroy the beast that threatens to drain the mana, and thereby the magic, from the world."
