Vanguard: Stratic's Quick Impressions

Stratics Vanguard was updated with a small article on the impressions they had from the Vanguard:SoH Demo at E3. Though it neglects to metion some of the finer details of a larger article, it's a good summary.
Here's a snippet:

Lead Programmer Ryan Elam and Jeff gave the folks fly-overs of New Targonor, Leth Nurae (Elven starting city) and showed off aerial pathing. The pathing and AI in Vanguard sounds pretty cool thusfar. Imagine a really nasty fish attacks you in the Thestran waters and you try and run to shore to mend your wounds. Forget about it. Some amphibian mobs will actually take to land and finish you off there. Jeff even said, "We've been thinking about players gaining the ability to fly. But nothing official yet." Hmmm, level 10 Wyverns a mile above land, not there for photo ops I assume.
