In continuation with the surfeit of other previews out there centred around Vanguard:SoH, GameSpy has released their preview of the Vanguard:SoH E3 demo.
Here's a snippet:

The parts of the world we explored were incredibly detailed, loaded with artwork that rivals the graphically stunning EverQuest II (Vanguard won't be shipping for over a year, so it's trying to compete on a whole new level.) When you explore the capital city, for instance, you'll find that the architecture appears aged and lived in. Buildings were built in different time periods and are in visibly different states of repair, with aged wood and sunken stone. There are few straight lines here; everything looks organic and real. Within the city, there are no 'set pieces.' Every single building is a real place with doors and windows -- you can go inside of any one. The developers have built dozens of different types of buildings that can fit together in modular ways, with several "skins" so that every one feels different. There's a lot to explore.

Enjoy the preview here. As more previews and articles are pumped out, we'll continue to report. There have been no new screenshots released with any preview or impressions, thus far, except those from the Microsoft Press Kit. Hopefully, in the near future, we'll be able to see the Vanguard:SoH E3 demo. Next week, perhaps.
