Asherons Call: New House Piacevoli Tales

The latest installment of House Piacevoli has been posted to the Olthoi's Lair:

The Yalain believed that the world and all living things contained an energy, a mana force, that they called "Tonallie", the warmth of the Sun. They also believed that the Sun itself was involved in a perpetual struggle against the forces of darkness and that the stars were the opposing forces in this battle. It was crucially important to assist the Sun in its journey across the sky without it being stopped in its tracks.

The Yalain were a warrior kingdom and great value was placed on its fighters, so it is not surprising that the duty of the dead, for death was a real enemy at this time within Dereth, was to help the Sun in its eternal struggle.

For the first four major cycles after their deaths, warriors lived in the heaven of Ichan Tonatiuh Ilhuijcan, the house of the Sun, where they could assist the sun in its journey.

At dawn the warriors would gather upon the great plain between the Blackmire Swamp and The Great Eastern Sea, there they would great the Sun by beating on their shields......
