Freeworld: Small interview about races in Freeworld...

Hello there Warcry readers! Sucky Ducky here, I've decided to do an interview with a few players from Freeworld about different races.

I interviewed myself for the human race.
I interviewed Sestren for the paladrone race.
I interviewed Deadzone for the altrog race.
And last but not least, TheTruth for tridearian.

[Race: Human]
- Hello there Sucky, what do you like best about the human race?
= Hello, I've decided to pick human this phase because I liked it last phase and generally humans are good all-rounders. I'm very happy about my choice, because humans have virtually no cons.

- What's the best thing about humans?
= They can mount many creatures, have decent combat capabilities and will probably be good enough mages when magic comes out.

- What's the worst thing about humans?
= They don't really excell in any area, they're average in everything.

- Any final comments?
= Nothing at this time...

[Race: Paladrone]
- Hello there Sestren, what do you like best about the Paladrone race?
= Welp, I generally chose to be a mage in most video games. It seemed to me before I started playing FW that Paladrones would have a huge advantage with magic. At this time I had no idea that magic wasn't in the game (yet)... Despite the fact that I really can't use my full potential yet, I like the fact that I'm different than everybody else. To see a high lvl handicapped character is a lot more impressive than a high lvl common mold.
You could also add the fact that in real life, anyone could own a sword. Sure there isn't much to kill with it, but you still have the ability to use it on stuff... Magic is something that we can't really have outside of video games. I'm the kind of person who sees no point in sports video games : p

- What's the best thing about Paladrones?
= Well... We're good at magic... Magic > Swords.

- What's the worst thing about Paladrones?
= Well, at this time it's the fact that we don't have magic. I can look around that though, because of what I said earlier. Aside from that, I can't find anything to complain about. Oh yeah and make us blue again.. (pointed at Draconus ofcourse)

- Any final comments?
= Nothing at this time...

[Race: Tridearian]
- Hello there TheTruth, what do you like best about the Tridearian race?
= Well other than being extremely devillish and good looking, I think their defence bonus is good. I seem to be able to melee some of the monsters before other races can so it means I can get more XP earlier... The only reason I say that is because I always seem to be attacking monsters that should be too hard for me.. And would be with other races (with melee at least) and winning... The potions played a big part of that in later gameplay... But earlier on it was usefull.

- What's the best thing about Tridearians?
= They have cool horns and they can ride hell hounds. :)

- What's the worst thing about Tridearians?
= They are quite slow at times, but that can be resolved by speed potions and they are not the most intelligent/wise race, which means they will never really be sucessful mages.

- Any final comments?
= Freeworld is a game that u must be sure to watch out for, even if your not going for the superior power of a triderian its well worth it and i can't wait for them to release tech and magic in the game. Long live FW!

[Race: Altrog]
- Hello there DeadZone, what do you like best about the Altrog race? (or what made you pick them)
= I chose Altrogs because of the speed bonus, seeing as I wouldnt need to buy a horse to get to places quickly

- Draconus has announced plans to add the new spider mount as an altrog only mount, what do you feel about it?
= The idea of it is brilliant, in fact I'm all for it, but I think it should be kept in discussion for now as too many people are against it.

- What's the best thing about Altrogs?
= Well, the speed bonus is well the only bonus we have right now. When I started back in P5, we also had an attack bonus to counter our weaker defence. End of the day, I would say speed is the only thing thats "better" stat-wise.
Image-wise however, Altrogs are lizards and lizards can live for hundreds of years.

- What's the worst thing about Altrogs?
= The defence is seriously lacking if you want to become a fighter. (a melee fighter)

- Any final comments?
= No final comments... :-p
