Asherons Call: Third Party Clamor

Well this has certainly been a week of heated discussion about Third Party Software and how it relates to AC. Not one, not two, but three excellent soapboxes have allowed us to beat this topic into submission over on the AC Discussions forum. And now I see a fourth has reared its head.

My whole take is that "it's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine".

Go and post some more, but remember that while heated discussion about a soapbox is encouraged, please keep it clean and don't make it personal -- neither are good methods of proving your point.

• XP Advisor. (Decal Plugin) v1.1.0.2. Very simple to use and very useful. All you have to do is check off which skills you're looking to raise, and the XP Advisor will that the next stat or skill to spend XP on.
• Bandit Chat. (Decal Plugin - NEW!) v2.0.0.230. A chat helper on steroids. Just drool at the list of features: History w/HUD, search, and Recall, Auto-Completion, SPAM filter, AFK reply, Shout filter, NPC filter, and a history of system messages.
• PK Ladder. (Decal Plugin - NEW!) v1.0.0.1. Using the Zone's Implementation of the Glicko rating system, this plugin now brings a true PK rating system to AC.
• Insane-Bot. (Decal Plugin) v0.8.0.20. Update to Insane-Bot, adding new features and including the current release of ImpFilterV2 (2.7.0.5).
• Magus ID. (Decal Plugin) v1.1.114. MagusID now has an installer! More error checking to the new sections for IDing all items on a character to a file as a precautionary measure.
• InstaOg. (Decal Plugin) v1.6.0.3. Changed "Other" Spellset to include lvl 7 S2M, H2M, and Revit. NOTE: ALL CONFIGS MUST BE UPDATED WITH THE NEW "OTHER" SPELLSET. Changed the turning routine to use Decal's faceheading.
• Nerfus Buffus II. (Decal Plugin) v1.20. Updates the filter to use the new login packets. Updates the filter for various other protocol changes. Minor updates to the NB2 controls.
