Manjenco posted this on the battle.net forum's, it's about the UI(User Interface) upcoming changes, such as autoloot will be removed.
First off, I want to thank you all for your hard work in the UI mod community. We are amazed by the things you are able to accomplish, and we appreciate your contributions to World of Warcraft. As you know, we've been allowing you complete freedom to do what you wish with the UI, and we want to continue doing so. We've been watching the cool features add up, and we encourage you to continue experimenting. However, for the good of the game, we are putting a few restrictions on what you'll be able to do.
Autoloot has been disabled. Looting items can now only be accomplished by actually clicking on each item.
Autocast has also been disabled. Casting spells by name is now only possible inside macros, and macros will only work when clicked on in the action bar. This also makes botting much more difficult (we hope!)
The number of CVars the UI can create is limited to 20. This is more of a technical issue than a design issue, since CVars were not meant to be used in some of the ways you are using them. We are discussing other methods of data storage to provide to you, but we have nothing at this time.
I apologize for the inconvenience, as I realize it can be frustrating to have the features you worked so hard on be removed. We don't want to limit what you are able to do any more than we feel is absolutely necessary. Again, we really appreciate the work you have done, and we hope you will continue to push the boundaries. The things you are able to do can be frightening to us as developers, but for every thing that worries us there are 10 more that just make us say "Cool!"
Thank you, and keep up the good work!
