World Of Warcraft: Pay per play...

I try to keep up with threads in the official forums, but they go by really fast. One recurring theme I see is that people don't understand why they are going to have to pay to play the game, or they don't know if it will be like Diablo (on the battle.net servers and free), or pay-per-month.

So, here it is... This game will be a pay-per-month game. It will be worth it, and it will be good. Don't question it, just look at every other Massive Multiplayer game out there (and no, Diablo is not a massive multiplayer game). Look at DAoC, AC, AC2, EQ, AO, etc, etc... they all charge a per-month fee. Why? Here's why:

That monthly fee pays for good servers, for support staff that is helping you in normally OFF business hours, you're paying for a live team of people who are working to create new content, fix bugs, new quests and items.

Does that clear it up anough for everyone?
