World Of Warcraft: /me chants, "We want more screenshots!!"

More posts in the official forums by GFrazier... this time about screenshots and why they don't release more of them.

First:

We've never had a screenshot a day except for a few times right before a release of a game, and it was still M-F. Screenshot of the week is the most often screenshot have been put out. There are no plans for a regular screenshot program at this time.

Second:

I'm sure people would dig it but we spend a lot of time working on (making sure everything is positioned right) screenshot so they will look cool. This means it's not easy to churn out 1 a day. Also we're not at the point where we could share that much information. When there's a new screenshot everyday it's not as exciting. I like seeing the big batches of new screenshots as we've seen so far.

And finally:

You'd be surprised. Anyone can hit the print screen but few can come up with truly cool screenshots as were shown with the World of Warcraft web site release. They surprised even people who have been working on the game.
