Star Wars Galaxies: Meaningful PvP

| 14 Nov 2002 10:42

Yesterday there was alot of information about PvP and ZOCs (Zones of Control). Holocron posted yet again to clear a few things up about the "Battle of PvP".

I see a lot of folks saying "the battle is over."
I wasn't aware there WAS a battle. It's not a fight, guys, it's a community hopefully working together to arrive at solutions.

Also ZimKah asked Holo, "What is YOUR definition of meaningful PvP ?" Holocron soon replied with this answer:

I have two answers. For me as a PLAYER, it's PvP I engage in because it's part of roleplay, and not just for the sake of the competition.
For me as a DESIGNER, it's PvP that isn't just random gankage and fights scattered here and there, but instead has some degree of structure to it.
