Asherons Call: Third Party Guy's a Liar

My most sincere apologies, for I have mislead you. Steered you wrong. Misstated my goals. Promised what I can not give. Remember when I said I'd make these updates weekly. Well I'm sorry I lied.

See here I am less than 3 days since the last update and I'm posting not a second, but a third time. I just can't help myself. As usual the Third Party Developers are busy little beavers, and when they're busy I just can't help but find a reason to post a news item letting you know what they're up to. And so here we are.

Before I give you the update I just wanted to again direct you to our Third Party Portals forum. And to maybe entice you to come and post there (because offering free bits on your computer monitor is not enough to get you to go there), I'm going to mention that Third Party Developers have been known to post there from time to time. When a TPD posts their name will be seen in italics (if I've caught them posting and flagged them that is).

And now the update (the first one is kind of important so read carefully):

• Mekle of Insane-Bot fame brings not only brings us an update to Insane-Bot (v0.8.0.16) that makes it compatible with the September patch and contains a number of other updates that you should go read about if you are Insane-Bot user, but also has some other very important info to share. An important part of the TPD community are those who step up to the plate when others decide they need to move on to other things for whatever reason. And so in honor of that tradition Mekle will be taking over the following:
  • ImpFilterV2. (Decal filter) v2.7.0.0 (no info about update, presumably bugfixes)
  • SpellFilter. (Decal filter) v1.3.1.0 (no changes -- thanks for the call out on this Hazridi)
  • Decal Protocol. Still under transition, but this will be the new home of the comprehensive Decal Protocol currently found here.

• Zyrca Bot II. (Decal plugin) v2.2.0.1 or 2.2.0.2, not real clear if you go to Zyrca's page. Either way its been updated to work with the September patch. Her release notice can be found here.
• MagusID. (Decal plugin) v1.1.0.69. There is a new option to turn OFF the auto-tabbing to the weapon or armor tabs when you ID something. If you are focusing on armor, for example, this option would allow you to ignore any weapons that you happen to ID, or if Bandit Sight or Sixth Sense is IDing things in the background. There is a new option to not display missiles in MagusID. This has the effect of not displaying Isparian weapons, as well as not displaying any missiles/weapons that are in a monster's hand while it is checked. (In case you accidentally click on the weapon while trying to select the monster, or if BS or SS is auto-IDing them as well.) Corrected Impenetrability I to only strip off 20 AL when you have Strip Spells checked. Corrected a bug on Piercing & Slashing damage where the 2.0 maximum on banes was missed.
• Fen-Ra's Meditation. (Decal plugin) v0.3.0.0. Fixes the installer (works I tried it myself :) Sorting works. Web page updated to explain what the plugin does.
• Sixth Sense. (Decal plugin) v2.5.6. Madar is a machine. This release fixes the following bugs: Bad Value in Chat Window, Unable to add new items by name, and Newly added items (by selection) not taking effect.
