Hot off the forums is yet another round of Q & A. Today's massive nanner sized bunch of Q & A comes from Turbine's ACDM Site and the AC VAult Forums.

Question: Optim Shi - Why was there no Event Rollout Article this month?
Answer: Voice of Turbine - As Asheron's Call continues to mature, we are always looking at ways to streamline our process. In the past the Rollout article and the Dev Notes have served much of the same purpose, which is to introduce the month's event and hint at what new content players will have to enjoy. Since this was the case, we decided to combine the two articles into one.

Question: Yakamoto - Why does the Helm of the Elements spell override Impulse?
Answer: Voice of Turbine - These two spells, Force to Arms and Impulse, are both in the same category and marked as beneficial spells. What determines which spell overpowers the other is the "power" of the spell, which in rough terms, could be thought of as the scarab used by players to cast spells. Since Force to Arms has a higher power than Impulse, it will always override Impulse, no matter what. This is by design and at this time, we have no plans to revise this behavior. Thanks for the question though!

Question: Rulon - What's the future of dagger???
Answer: Voice of Turbine - Expect answers soon. Before the December event launches, we hope to have a letter posted that will explain the upcoming changes to dagger and why we feel these need to take place.

Question: Various posters - Suggestions for ivoryable items.
Answer: Voice of Turbine - We are always looking for items to be "ivory-able" and can look into making it possible for this item. One restriction that we face on certain quest items that can be given to and returned by an NPC or can be used in a crafting operation, can cause the quest to break. For instance, the Buadren created by Aun Aulakhe could be transferred to another character through the use of ivory. Getting around this requires some code revisions that needs to be fit in among our other priorities for Asheron's Call.
