The August issue of PC Gamer (UK edition) has coverage of our favourite MMORPG (guess which one, since this site is dedicated to it, so no names on a postcard please). These last few months magazines seem to have realised the huge potentional of online games as they stand and have responded accordingly. This goes to show how large an industry this has become and even a year after the US release we still have coverage.
Impressively a full two page spread on Miss Galaxies (pg 110-111) is covered this month which just goes to show the impact this game (and events within) is having on the 'outside world'. Not only that but Miss Galaxies as provided by Nabooty Entertainment is available on the magazines demo DVD.
My favourite part of the piece I just have to quote:
Both the pageant and Nabooty Entertainment are going from strength to strength, so much so that Il'Ustra is currently musing over the idea of a male beauty contest before the year is out. It sounds like another essential SWG event. Then again, the idea of a Mon Calamari in a codpiece is wrong on so many levels.
So people, stand up and be counted. Get your events organised. The world is watching.
