Star Wars Galaxies: R2D2 Tops Best Film/Tv Robots Poll

R2D2 has won first place in a poll to find the best robots on film or television. Amazon.co.uk and IMDB.com did the poll to mark the forthcoming release of the Star Wars Trilogy DVD box set.

C3PO came in fourth in the poll, giving him and R2D2 a third of the total votes cast. R2D2 won first place with 22.9% of the vote. R2D2 barely bet out Bender from Futurama for top honors.
