Many of us use droids. Fact. Doctors, Crafters (advertising), New Combat profs and so on and so forth. This weeks tip deals with that.
Droid Handling
You can program droid names and commands very quickly by setting up macros and then dragging those to one of your toolbar slots.
Example:
· Create a new Macro ("Droid-Store") and in the body, type: "/tellpet Store;"
· Drag this newly made macro icon to your UI Toolbar (since you'll want it there anyway).
· Call the droid and select "Program", then "Store"
· Hit the UI Toolbar button for the "Droid-Store" macro you made and that command is programmed.
· Repeat for other droid commands.
Once you set this up, you should be able to both name and fully program a droid's command in a mere matter of a few moments
Very useful if you have toolbar space. Also hinting for those creature handlers out there....Use the /tellpet command.
Unfortunately my droids are very temperamental, think of R2-D2 times 2 million. They just refuse to listen to me. At least they don't change colour anymore, then again they chose a particularly unattractive shade of mucus green to stick with. Punching them doesn't work either. Also I never should have had that 'sarcastic personality chip' installed. Argh!
