But then the lag hit. First 20 health points were subtracted, and then 30 more. I kept losing my health points and yet I didn't see anything physically attacking me. I tried running but the purple portal dots kept swirling around me. Things kept hitting me and I began to get desperate. By now I had held the arrow key down for five or more seconds already and suddenly found myself very close to the middle of the lake with nasty stuff still on my tail and more nasty stuff up ahead. I was running into a trap...
