Vendors: yes, limits needs to be higher. We don't complain about there being limits but rather how low they are. Also aggregate limits is almost a necessaity (unless individual ones are high enough).
I have a vendor with, at the moment, 250ish powerups but my total is less than 610 right now (I dropped arch and haven't started with doc yet really).

Well, under the hood things won't work quite like that. Preventing recursion isn't so easy as a GUI command. The change will be coming at a much lower level programmatically. From my perspective, some important game play concerns that the community has underscored and I think we should pay close attention to that.
As for the vendors? Yes. I am working with the team as to how high the limits can go. There are also some arcane details about how vendors work with aggregate limits in the database. As soon as I have some hard info, I'll post it later this week.
And in regards to my visibility, I understand that its a little low at the moment, but we are reading the boards and discussing topics internally. It is going to be a couple of weeks before the transition is complete, but once the community team is staffed up again, I'll be able to post more. Until then, please get key issues in the dev cycle forum and to your correspondents.
