If you you have some spare time and would love to join a quality team of individuals dedicated to serving the community of online gamers, well here's your chance! The Matrix Online currently has a position open for a Site Manager!

A good example of a Site Manager is someone who has a couple quality hours to spend with their site. The duties of a Site Manager varies, and include but are not limited to:

1. Hiring a competent staff. A staff works collectively like the vertebrae of a spine, each serving different functions but supporting one another simultaneously. A staff includes newsies (To post daily updates, pertinent information, and news regarding the specific game.) A columnist (To create revolving content in the form of editorial, essay or opinion to engage the community in thought and conversation.) Moderators (To preserve the integrity of the Warcry forums and make sure the community maintains a friendly environment) Content Managers (These are individuals that will help you collect data and build databases on the professions and entities, such as mobs, weapons and abilities in the game.) Guide Writers (Writers who detail the path of a specific profession or encounter and further enlight the reader by simplifying the process of advancement.)

2. Providing Guidance. A vision for your site is a fabulous thiing and you may be ripe with ideas, but including the staff on important decision making is imperitive to maintaining communication and strengthening the bond, reinforcing the common goal. Ask questions, make suggestions, request feedback from your staff and give it in return. Leadership qualities are a major benefit in Managing a quality staff.

3. Encouraging Team Efforts. Being a Site Manager is a marvelous experience, working with people with incredibly diverse talents, from writers to coders, everyone plays an integral role in making it all work! The warcry Staff community are both supportive and helpful, so come what may, there's usually somewhere there to help if you need it.

4. Committment. A Great Site Manager is someone able to dedicate a bit of time regularly to make sure everything is running efficiently. While you won't have to drop out of school or quit your day job, it is highly suggested you at least have a couple of hours to spend with Warcry at your convenience.
