Asherons Call: New Atlas Features
A few new features are available in the WCoD Atlas.
- Portal Hubs
Portal Hubs can be anything from a monster-free dungeon with three more more portals, such as a Residential Hall, to a gathering of three or more portals above ground, such as the Cragstone Settlement Portals, to a creature-ridden dungeon which despite the creatures.. still seems to function mostly as a means of transportation for the AC players (ex, Jungle Shadows). - Tighter Proximity Search
To make it easier to find portals nearest a Portal Hub, we've added a new proximity search of 1 clicks. For example, you can view the Abandoned Mines (aka the Hub or the Sub) using the default proximity search of 5 clicks or you view the hub using the tighter proximity search of 1 click. - Settlement Portal Classification
In our efforts to make our Atlas more useful to you, we've added one more type of portal. The Settlement Portal. This is to aid you in quickly spotting and identifying Portals in our databases as a Settlement Portal or a Wilderness Portal (previously, all the Settlement Portals were classified as Wilderness Portals).
The WCoD staff has gone through the Atlas to verify that everything is classified correctly and we think we've finished the job, but if you find any mistakes or have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us.
