Final Fantasy: Interview With FFXI Producer Hiromichi Tanaka

Computer and Video Games.Com recently interviewed FFXI producer Hiromichi Tanaka in London about the European release of FFXI one week from today. Much of it deals with the basics of the game that are familiar to those who already have a copy, but there were some interesting tidbits, such as the quote below.

That said, a lot of players in Japan and America have the PS2 version, and the PS2 won't be around forever. So eventually, we'll have to decide where we want to take the game - to the PS3 or Xbox 2 or whatever - or are we going to have start off with a whole new sequel or idea?
