PlayOnline Scheduled Server Maintenance (Sep. 13)

PlayOnline will be unavailable due to scheduled server maintenance on the following date. During this time, the PlayOnline Viewer, PlayOnline, Tetra Master and FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

*The client software will also be updated at this time. The version update process will automatically begin when you login to PlayOnline. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

[Important Update Details]
- The new PlayOnline main menu will be implemented.

- A new chat zone for Front Mission Online will be added.

- Handle profiles will be updated to accommodate FINAL FANTASY XI: Chains of Promathia.

- Modifications will be made to prepare for the commencement of PlayOnline service in Europe (scheduled for September 16th, 2004).

- A window will now appear when "Install" is selected from the login menu, allowing users to select the PlayOnline-compatible title they wish to install.

- A shortcut to the PlayOnline Viewer will be added to the PlayOnline Viewer Config panel (Windows version only).

- A new feature will be added to windowed mode that will allow users to reduce the size of PlayOnline Viewer window.

This version update will affect the "pol.exe" file, which may require you to adjust the settings of your security software. Please refer to your security software's manual to confirm what adjustments need to be made (Windows version only).
