Details on Current Known Issues
Since the implementation of the latest version update on Sep. 13, 2004, several game play and system related issues have been discovered. A new update to address these issues has been made and is currently being tested. Players will be informed as soon as a download date has been set.
The following issues have been discovered and are being addressed:
-The craftsman signatures on equipment synthesized before the Sep. 13, 2004 version update are not being displayed properly. This issue does not affect the functionality of the equipment in any way, and signatures will not be lost unless the item is sold on auction.
-Players are able to purchase the key item "a map of Bibiki Bay" multiple times. While this issue does not affect gameplay, there will be no refunds made to players who have bought more than one copy of the map.
-Speaking with the NPC Marin in Bastok Markets causes the game to freeze, preventing players from continuing their adventures. Until this issue is addressed, the NPC in question will be removed from the area.
-While performing a FINAL FANTASY XI file check, a "polboot.exe" error appears when there is no actual error. This issue does not affect game play.
