[b] Heritage Requirements on Clothing, Armor, and Weapons[/b] - We have found a bug with the treasure system which is producing clothing, armor, and weapons with lower than normal arcane lore difficulties. Basically, these items were supposed to get a heritage requirements -- and so calculated their difficulty accordingly -- but then did not get the heritage requirement. We are aware of this issue and it will be fixed in January.
Items which should have gotten a heritage requirement this month but didn't will remain at their lower-than-normal difficulty next month and will not receive a heritage requirement.
The armor levels that you are seeing in the game right now are right about where we planned for them to be. Note that the overall maximum possible armor levels didn't go up in general, but the some types of armor now have slightly higher possible max armor levels. For instance, the maximum armor level of shields is still 185 for tower shields, but bucklers, which used to max out at AL 105, can now go to AL 135.
The value of armor is showing rather more variation, particularly on the low side, than we had anticipated. We will likely be tweaking this in the future.
We have no planned hotfixes nor rollbacks at this time.
[b]The Gift Box Quest[/b] - There are currently a couple of issues with the Gift Box quest that we are aware of. There is a bottleneck in the quest where players need to pick up an item from a chest, and there is currently only one chest available for this purpose. In addition, some players have been holding that chest open, which prevents other players from using it. We are aware of these issues and are taking steps to resolve them.
