A recent thread on the City of Heroes Offical forums asked why we should submit bug reports. Valdermic, QA Community Liason, answers back.

A couple of things to keep in mind when sending in /bugs concerning black holes, or stuck mobs. (Test or Live servers)

1. Report the /bug from the location you see the bad geometry. The information in the bug report helps us find and reproduce this error. If you wait until the end of the mission or until you return to your contact, the exact location of the problem is lost.

2. Just giving us a mission name does not help much. The mission isn't full of bad geometry, the map is, and there are many maps. A tester could assign the mission many times and not get the exact map you might have been on.

3. So /bug in the mission, at the location of the issue.

4. Please keep the /bugs coming. We look at all of them. Keep in mind there are more bug reports than I have testers. So we have to prioritize the bugs. They're all important, but some get fixed before others.

Thanks,
Valdermic

As you can see bug reports are very important to the development of the game. Be sure and submit one if you find one.
