The results of the 1st Annual City of Heroes Film Festival are in. For Best Action Film, the winner is Mike D'anna with The Liberty League in "The Doom of Doctor Death". It's described as a Slickly edited [film] with a colorful, fast-paced comic book style. "The Liberty League" is simply drop-dead cool. It's the trailer to a CoH movie we'd all love to see.
The winner of Best Comedy goes to Brian Shapiro with Sometimes the Hero . Cryptic describes this film as ...a creative and humorous mixture of live action and game footage, Brian Shapiro...perfectly captures the spirit and heart of what CoH means to the everyday working person. Funny, inspiring, and ultimately touching, sometimes the Hero is a superb ode to the game we love.
Congratulations to Mike and Brian. To see their films as well as the complete newspost, you can click here. Game on!
