Greetings, City of Heroes fans! Ravenstorm, Associate Designer at Cryptic, posted a bit of information regarding the monster, Babbage, and current issues with his appearance in the game. Have a look.

Thanks again for the feedback. I've seen a lot of threads on the boards pertaining to where the Babbage is, where he spawns, so on and so forth, so I wanted to give you a few answers.

Is the Babbage supposed to spawn in Boomtown?
In short, the answer is yes.

Does the Babbage currently spawn in Boomtown?
No - this is a bug. We're working on it.

Will he ever come back to Boomtown?
Yes, hopefully soon.

Will this affect the Synapse Task Force?
No, the Babbage's presence will still be felt in the Task Force.

Where will the Babbage be in Boomtown?
He can spawn in various places, however it is up to the heroes to figure out where he will be.

Can you make him/other big monsters spawn more often?
This is an interesting idea, and may be considered in the future.
