Star Wars Galaxies: Blowout Event Changed to Corbantis

After further review we have decided to move tonight's event to the Corbantis server. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused . If you do not currently have a character on Corbantis please feel free to make one to join in on the festivities. There will be events for all character levels to participate in.

Big Corbantis Blowout Event Friday, September 24th!

We will be hosting live events in major cities throughout the Corbantis Galaxy on Friday night! Our goal is to get as much population onto a live server in order to assess how Jump to Lightspeed will effect our hardware, so come one, come all, come make a character on Corbantis and join the fun!

Our live events team will be hosting events in cities throughout the galaxy for both new players and experienced players.

When: Friday, September 24th 2004 at 8 - 10 PM Central

Where: Corbantis Galaxy in the following cities:

New players should help the Galactic Pest Control Forces fight off an invasion. Today several cities received gifts from an anonymous donor. The gift is a garden filled with all manner and variety of exotic plants. Unfortunately, the garden was not properly shipped through Imperial Customs and has released a plague on the following cities:

Mos Entha, Tatooine
Tyrena, Corellia
Moenia, Naboo

Mid level players are asked to help fend off attacks from raiders on several planets. Local governments are requesting that Soldiers, Mercenaries and anyone who can help respond to the organized menace.

Bestine, Tatooine to help fight off the Tusken Attacks.
Or travel to Naboo, Theed to help stop the Mauler Raids
Or go to Corellia, Doaba Guerfel to help fight off the raiding Rogue Corsecs

Advanced players should head to:

Imperials are on notice to move to the Imperial Outpost Dantooine to quell a Rebel Attack.
Rebels are on notice to move to the Rebel Outpost on Rori to fight of an Imperial Incursion.
It is rumored that the Nightsisters plan to attack the Dathomir Science Outpost
The Deathwatch is also on the move and will be attacking the Yavin 4 Labor Outpost

Why: To get as much population on the galaxy as possible and to have lots of fun

How:
If you are an existing character, simply log on and head to the announced cities
If you don't have a character on that galaxy, simply create a new character and head to the new player event locations to join the fun!

Remember, this event is for new characters and experienced characters, so come one, come all to the Big Corbantis Blowout Event!
