EQ2 Vault has just published their new interview with Steve "Moorgard" Danuser.

Berek Halfhand: There has been many times where a player will go unconscious in EQ Live and enter the purple health zone, only to be resurrected at the last moment. What kind of near death systems will we see in EverQuest II? Will any specific classes have a special role in this as well?

Steve "Moorgard" Danuser: I'm happy to report that the Purple Club is alive and well in EverQuest II (as I can attest from personal experience). All types of priests can experience the thrill of rescuing a groupmate from the brink of death.
