Asherons Call: Shreth Boy Found in Sawato Caves! Locals Astounded!

Remind you of anything? Like maybe your favorite supermarket tabloid? I know that I love killing brain cells by reading about things like "the Pope's Secret Conference with Aliens", or "Bat Boy runs for Congress". And to me, that's something that we're missing in Dereth: a tabloid.

So, here and now I'm throwing down the gauntlet. People of Dereth! The time has come! Let us take up the banner of shoddy journalism, sensationalism and all around tacky bad taste! I say the world is ready for the Derethian World News!

If any of you intrepid adventurers out there have stories so bizarre that no one would believe you, send them my way! Incude the text of your tale in the body of the email, or in a MS Word attatchment. I'm looking for submissions ranging from 250 to 2000 words. Please try to limit your self to things that we can publish, ie: no overly adult subject matter or language. Direct all submissions to Me, and please include the word Tabloid in the subject line. Also, if you have images that go along with your tale, send them too!

We're hoping to get the first issue out to the Town Criers by the end of the month, so please try and be prompt with your stories. Together I know we can uncover the secrets of this bizarre world!
