One question I would like confirmed is that there are no badges that are required for accolades that you can out level and not be able to SK or Ex to get. An example would be for taskforce commander. If all the task forces are required and you have out leveled them you cannot currently SK to do them.

Currently, you can't Exemplar to a Task Force, but a fix for that is going up on Training Room very soon. Badges that are "one chance" deals (like Isolator) will never EVER be part of an Accolade set.Quote:

They are meant to be "situational powers". They are not combat tools, in that you have them at your disposal whenever you want, but they are more than a novelty in the fact that they really can enhance an area where an Archetype is considered "weakest" or make that Archetype vastly more powerful in an area, but not on a regular basis.Quote:

No. The point is NOT to reset missions. The number is where it is at so that you actively have to TRY to get the badge in order to do it. You won't just get the badge by killing stiff normally throughout the game. Since bosses appear only in Hazard and Trial zones normally, we can use badges to encourage players to visit those zones more often, in order to get the badge they desire.Quote:

Something for the Explorer-Bartle-type to find interesting in our game. This was implemented so that people who clamored for "more content" yet mean "different kinds of content" could get what they wanted in an earlier Expansion rather than a later one. The logic is really in the "what does an Explorer find appealing" mindset. If we did it a different way, then we start to move away from something that Explorers would find interesting and move into the Achiever category.Quote:

As it is, you can only find them by accidentally bumping in to them (such as ones on random rooftops) or "cheating" and using a guide.

Actually the initial players on Training Room who found them all did it the hard way... they simply explored the entire zones specifically for badges. You can do this too if you don't want to cheat.Quote:

Yes, I made a fix (going onto Training Room soon) to issue these badges upon Mission Complete for these missions. Because of this, they will Retro themselves onto any player who completed those missions.
