City Of Heroes: Justice Server Honours Fallen Hero

Today marks the death of the one and only Christopher Reeve (25 September 1952 - 10 October 2004). As a result of complications of his paralysis, he suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma over the weekend. Best known as Superman, Reeve became as much of a hero in the real world as his iconic character had been in the fictional world. More than just launching the comic book world into the mainstream by his well-known portrayal of the Superman character, he inspired countless people to believe that the impossible could be - he was a true hero. Rather than give up after his near-fatal equestrian accident nine years ago, Christopher Reeve came back stronger than ever, using his clout to help beat the battle against the spinal cord injury that he'd suffered as well as raise awareness on the topic in the general public.

Reeve's memory, without a doubt, lives on the minds and hearts of our community. Several players from the Justice Server honoured his passing with this living memorial to the original hero.
