City Of Heroes: Paragon City Scavenger Race Information! (Virtue)

Greetings everyone! Your friendly neighborhood Organizational Officer from the Legion Supergroup on the Virtue server to tell you that Sunday, October 17th at 3 PM EST the proud members of Legion will be holding an in game city wide scavenger race!!!

What's a scavenger race?

Well it's a combination of a scavenger hunt and a race. The way it works is teams of 3 - 5 people will receive clues in the form of rhymes and riddles from various hero contacts (role played by members of Legion) located throughout the city. Each team must visit these contacts, receive their clue, and figure out the location of their next contact. The team that completes the course the fastest wins!

Due note, heroes, that this is not purely a contest of speed... it is also a test of your detective skills! Not only are the clues designed to test your knowledge of the streets of Paragon and it's illustrious history, but the contacts themselves may ask for you to answer a riddle or perform a task in order to receive your next clue!

What're the rules?

1) ALL members of the team must present in the zone of each contact, teams that are seperated will not be given their clue unless they are all present!

2) Teams must visit each contact in order!

3) If you are given a riddle to answer from a contact you must submit your answer via /tell!

4) Impeding progress of another team via spamming, training or any other unsavory method will result in IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION!

What're the prizes?

The fastest team will receive a grand prize of a full tray of SO's of the level and origin of their choosing and 250k influence for EACH member of the winning team.

The runner up will receive a half tray of SO's of the level and origin of their choosing and 125k influence for each member of the team...

How do I sign up?

First you must have a team of 3 - 5 heroes, counting yourself. All levels are welcome but due note that some of the locales are dangerous for an inexperienced crime fighter. (No contacts are located in hazard zones, only city zones)

Once you have your team ready you can sign up by either sending an in-game email to Professor Dusk or by sending me a PM on the Legion boards (Note: You must be a registered user on the boards to send PMs). In the header of the message put "Scavenger Race Team Sign Up" and in the body include the names of the heroes in your team. YOU MUST SIGN UP BY FRIDAY OCTOBER 15TH!

You will then receive a reply stating the place where we will be meeting and further instructions.
