Freeworld: A whole new world

I was walking around in FreeWorld yesterday and it hit me like a rock, FreeWorld is nothing like it was when I first started testing. I took some time to really look at everything up close and I was amazed by the difference in quality when compared to the world I first remember stepping into. The changes in the world are so drastic that I find myself lost and having to learn the zones all over again as they are improved.

The trees have new leaf and bark textures and all the grass textures have been replaced with much better textures then before. The Terrain color and bump maps have been completely redone to give a whole new and real looking feel. All of the zone have been enlarged four times the original size and the terrain has been reshaped. This is only a few of the many changes that have come over the last phase to FreeWorld.

Clyde Bielss (AKA Draconus) with the help of a new dev. Kefka have been working around the clock on FreeWorld to make sure everything is raised to a whole new standard. Kefka has made many new models that have added character to the land. Form the giant mushrooms in Liyon to the chopped down tree stumps in Galen Kefka's work has started to breath new life into world of Seregor. I for one can not wait to see the new things the freeworld team will bring to us. Great job guys and keep up the good work.
