Asherons Call: Today is the Day for New Forums

Throughout today you'll see changes to some of our forums. The Trade forums for the Server Communities have all been locked. They are still accessible from the Community forums and will remain so for several weeks but trades shoud now occur in the Community Forums.

The exception to this rule is cross-server trades and mule trades. As feedback has indicated this type of trade is considered an "annoyance" to community posters and as it's a special type of trade we've given it its own forum, Cross-Server Trades. Please, use this forum accordingly.

By the end of the day the Collegium Arcani and Barracks will have merged into one forum known as The Academy. This will be the Collegium under a new name. There will remain a link to the old Barracks for several months, but again, the threads will be locked.

The same will occur with The Tavern and Tales and Stories and with Game Issues and Design Pen.

While I know some of you are delighted with these changes I've also listened very carefully to those of you who'ver written me to tell me that you are less than pleased. Let me say, I do understand. The staff was split on these changes - it was not an easy decision. But, it's important that WCoD remain a vibrant manageable site and our forums need a jumpstart and we hope that the increased traffic will help spur more dialogue.
