My inability to hit Dave the Bowman for any significant damage led to a ridiculously stupid move that ended the fight very quickly. I had buffed my Critical Strike atlatl and I was equipped with a quiver full of deadly piercing darts, so I decided to see if I could beat Dave the Bowman's Missile Defense. I threw a quick heal on myself and clicked to switch weapons. Dave the Bowman cut me down before I was even able to fire off a shot. Even with Brittlemail on it, my Diamond shield was still around AL 220 (Brittlemail V versus Impenetrability VI) with unparalleled lighting protection...
