DnDMMORPG: Will there be underwater areas we can visit at release or in the future?

DDO Team: Water and swimming are definitely in the game, but we probably won't have adventure zones that are entirely underwater. It's much more likely that water will be present in some areas as an obstacle or puzzle element, but most of the adventuring and combat will still take place on good, solid ground.

Well, it's good to hear that swimming is in. It's most definitely one of my favourite things to do in a MOG. I, for one, hope they do create some quests that are entirely underwater. They were always the most fun me in PnP and MUD sessions. Perhaps this Z axis inclusion means some form of levitation/limited flight as well? Let's keep our collective fingers crossed.
