City Of Heroes: Talk About The Test Server

Greetings, City of Heroes fans! Ever wonder why the test server exists and why it's set up the way it is? Well, Vyvyanne, QA Community Liaison for NCSoft fills us in on the official boards today...

Here is the "why". The point of a Test server open to the players is to have a Test environment as close to the Live environment as possible in order to better test the situations that may happen on Live. Giving the abilities that you have mentioned, changes and manipulates that environment so that it is far different than that of Live servers and therefore not a True test.
