Asherons Call: Soapbox - Melee vs Mage

While trolling our AC Discussions forum a few weeks back I came across a really nice thread called "Whatever Happened to the Melee Character?". It was well-written and I thought it would garner discussion so I asked that it be sent to me as a Soapbox. Well, as it turned out it did garner a lot of discussion and so I didn't put it up.

Then, I receive a simple little Soapbox from a Darktide player that was nothing more than a few lines of a log of a battle of a melee vs mage. What struck me was, the first essay was about imabalance in PvM. The second was about imbalance in PvP. But, they were the same subject.

So, I've used them both in today's Soapbox, "Mage vs Melee". See if you see the similarities.
